Here are ten free textures you can download. I have it set up so that you can either download all of them or individually. If you want the whole folder up in the top right corner you can click on the download folder. I hope you like them. Also just to let you know I am working on some big things I am not going to tell you when because it seems like things always come up and I can’t get it to you when I say I am going to. I know this is no excuse, but you have to remember that this is not my full-time job. So all I can tell you is soon and that to be expecting the following:

  • a new free font download
  • a tutorial on how to create your own font
  • two free vector downloads and
  • two vector packs

Recently, I was a butt of a prank and an oppurtunity came with it. My boss came busting into my office last week and threw a bag with a thousand (literally a thousand) ping pong sized balls into my office. Well after picking them all up out of every small corner in my office,(I am still finding balls) I decided that with this many balls I could take a really cool photo. So I decided to make a bottomless case then put it on top of the light table and dump the balls inside. I lit the table and starting taking photos. With the balls being somewhat translucent I got a nice little glow from behind. You can download the file after the jump. I have also placed another file in the folder that I played around with. If you have any other cool ideas that I can do with balls let me know, I am interested to see how how creative you are.

I’ve decided that I need to start taking more pictures, because I just bought this Canon 40d and I need to start using it. So this will be a win/win situation for me and you since once a week I will be posting a new texture or a really sweet photo. With that said here is your texture of the week.

Then I found out that you can download the images also, at a very large resolution. Let’s just say I am a very happy man. I plan on using a few of them as brushes and others as just textures. I look forward to sharing a new brush set very soon. Check them out here.
