Firefox 3.0 Beta available

firefox 3.0 beta

Before you go straight to downloading you need to be aware of something. After I downloaded I found out that a lot of my add ons did not work yet with this version. So if you don’t want to sacrifice your add ons I suggest waiting till the developers have a chance to update them. Other than that the interface looks amazing and I haven’t had any problems yet today. The one thing I love so for is the fact the favicon has it’s own area framed out. The interface fits in more with the apple/leopard look than the current firefox. I think it makes it more comfortable to work in now. I have to admit I use Safari 90% of the time because of that reason. The other 10% I use Firefox but pretty much because of the add ons that I can’t get for Safari. So if you want to download go to Mozilla’s developers ftp to download. Picture after the jump.

  1. does it run slow as dirt on a Mac like the current version? Camino is a lot quicker, but i wish the FireBug addon worked with it.
